My name is Paul T. Williams, RPT (Registered Piano Technician). I began 15 years ago studying with Mr. Steven Brady RPT at the University of Washington in Seattle. I have self employed until July 2006, when I began my appointment as Piano Technician here at UNL. I have been involved with pianos all my life having 10 years of instruction with four different teachers ending with Prof. Frances Bittner at University of Oregon in Eugene during my last two years in high school. I have also played electric bass guitar for 30 years in high school, college jazz bands and professionally for 20 years. I was born in Tacoma WA and have been a Northwest native my whole life. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Oregon State University in 1984.
I'm adjusting to life in Lincoln exceedingly well with my wife, Tarja and my 10 year old son, Harlan and our Havanese puppy, Kiyushu.
